Toshiba has said it will launch the first computer company's board in June to end in Japan and soon in the global market.
With computer table, Toshiba will launch an effort to gain 10% market share globally in 2013 tablet, Masaaki Oosumi, president of services and products of Toshiba Digital confirm at a press conference in Tokyo.
Toshiba is one of the most famous and oldest in the village of laptop production, so the new tablet PC is its ability to increase market competitiveness in the increasingly active tablet.
According to Toshiba, the tablet will work on the OS platform Android3.0.
Toshiba introduced the first model of this tablet at CES in Las Vegas (USA) earlier this year, but then, Toshiba did not reveal the time of official launch as well as the price of the device.
The tablet will be sold for $ 730 USD in Japan. Retail price of the machine in other markets has not been announced.
Toshiba tablet form of ownership of the 10.1-inch screen and uses two processors from Nvidia Tegra. Machine's LED screen has a resolution of 1280 x 800. Equipped with camera equipment in both front and back of your PC, support USB, Mini USB, HDMI and SD card slot.
Machine also supports Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1. The tablet has a 16GB hard drive storage and 1GB of RAM.
According to Toshiba, the machine is equipped with a removable battery. Toshiba will supply the batteries have long durations but specific information is not yet at press time.
In Japan, the tablet form will be marketed under the brand name "Regza" which was used for this type of Toshiba flat screen TV's.
Tablet form of this, Toshiba has become the latest electronics giants in Japan market entry tablet. Previously, NEC and Sharp has also unveiled its own test each tablet of their products.
Sony also is developing a tablet form but the company did not say much about his plans. Most likely this device will be released on Sony last year.
One month after debuting its first tablet form, Toshiba will begin selling laptops on the market able to show 3D images without requiring users to wear glasses.
This laptop is called Dynabook Qosmio T851/D8CR. Using 3D computer technology of Toshiba Window to display the same time 3D and 2D content on the different windows of a computer screen.
Users can view the 3D image quality or can play 3D games on a screen without special glasses, while still working, surfing the Web or send email on a door other books.
Toshiba has not announced the retail price as well as the specific time of issuance of this laptop in markets outside Japan.
